| The local machine shop finished up the first batch of ebike pegs this week and they're now available on our website for purchase. These pegs are threaded so that they can be screwed directly onto the axle without requiring an axle-nut to tighten it down. I had the shop make two different sizes for the threading: M12 x 1.25 (for 12mm diameter axles) M14 x 1.5 (for 14mm diameter axles) Many rear-wheel drive ebikes (like the Sondors) have a wire that feeds into one side of the rear axle. With these ebike pegs, one of each pair has a cut-out slot to feed this wire through, so that it doesn't interfere with the peg. These pegs feature an updated design for the cut-out slot based on testing with the first prototype. |  |
