Spring time is upon us and it's time to pull the bicycles out of the garage and start hitting the pavement again. I had a couple more red leather bike seats made, and this time I added matching red leather backrests. Both the bike seat and backrest cushions were handmade by Mark Christian Bolick (Suture) here in the Bay Area. They feature beautiful red leather cowhide hand-stitched with black stitching.

 | Just look how classy that red leather looks on the bike seat and backrest together, especially with the matching custom red leather saddle Mark made for me last year. Definitely a crowd pleaser as you're riding around town. The red leather bike seats and backrests are in very limited supply ... we only had two pairs of them made. They'll be available exclusively on our website since we have so few. The red leather isn't weather resistant like the black vinyl with our standard bike seats and backrests, so it requires some extra love and care, and ought to stay indoors at night and when it's not being ridden. |
